This is the last Will and Testament of me William Lynam of Heanor Road Ilkeston in the County of Derby, Water Inspector.
I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects unto my wife Eliza Lynam, Joseph Shorthouse of Cotmanhay Ilkeston aforesaid Colliery Proprietor and Henry Wilford of Ilkeston aforesaid, Surveyor upon trust in the first place there out to pay my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and then to permit my wife to hold and enjoy my said real and personal estate and effects for her life and after her death I direct my surviving trustees to divide my personal estate into and equally between my children or if my said trustees think set to sell and divide the proceeds in the same manner and also to sell my real estate and divide the proceeds thereof in the same manner, I appoint my said wife Eliza Lynam and the said Joseph Shorthouse and Henry Wilford, executors of this my will, and I hereby revoke all former wills.
In witness whereof I have to this my will set my hand the Eighteenth day of September One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Eight
