Sarah Bowmer (née Lynam) 1783 – 1854

The will of Sarah Bowmer née Lynam who died 17 June 1854,

This is the last will and testament of me Sarah Bowmer nee Lynam widow of the late Thomas Bowmer of Fritchley in the County of Derby made to be published and declared this Ninth day of June in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Four
First I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid out of my real and personal estate by my son Thomas Bowmer herein after mentioned
Second I give and devise and bequeath unto my said son Thomas Bowmer all and singular my real and personal estate whatsoever and whereso ever situated that I may that I may be in possession of or may be in any way entitled unto him and his heirs executors administrators or assigns forever.
Subject never the less unto the following condition.
First that he shall pay my daughter Hannah Bowmer the sum of One Hundred Pounds within twelve months after my decease
And secondly that he pay to her my said daughter Twelve Pounds every year for the term of her natural life. And I do hereby make my real estate subject to the payment thereof
Third I do devise and bequeath to my son John Bowmer alias Lynam the sumo f One Hundred Pounds and to my daughter Mary Mason wife of William Mason of Broadholme in the parish of Belper in the County of Derby aforesaid the sum of One Hundred Pounds the said having been left at my disposal by the last will and testament of my Husband Thomas Bowmer before mentioned

And I direct that the two several sums of One Hundred Pounds each shall be paid to the respective parties at the expiration of twelve months after my decease
And that the receipt of my said daughter Mary Mason shall be good and sufficient discharge without the control of her present or any future husband
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my two sons John Bowmer alias Lynam and my son Thomas Bowmer joint executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other and former wills made
