Will of Joseph Lynam dated 17/4/1849
This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Lynam of Heage in the Parish of Duffield in the County of Derbyshire, Farmer.
After payment of all my just debts, funeral expenses and testamentary expenses
I give and devise and bequeath unto my housekeeper Hannah Shore of Heage in the aforesaid County. All my real and personal estate for her benefit during her lifetime and at her death
I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate absolutely unto my natural son John Shore of Heage in the aforesaid County.
And I hereby appoint William Porter of Crich in the County of Derby, Farmer, and Charles Willow, of Belper in the County of Derby, Surgeon, executors of this my Will,
And I do hereby declare that any such executors may and shall at all times reimburse and indemnify themselves all such costs and damages charges and expenses as they may be put unto or sustain in and about the(trusts) execution of the trusts of this my Will and that neither of them shall be answerable for any loss which may happen to the said trust premises unless the same shall happen by or though his or their now wilful neglect or default nor the one for the other of them, neither shall either of them be answerable for more monies than shall actually come into his hands by virtue of this my Will.
And hereby revoking and making void all former or other wills and Testaments.
In Witnesses whereof I the said Joseph Lynam have to this my last Willand Testament set my hand the Seventeen day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Nine

Signed by the said testator Joseph Lynam and acknowledged by him to be his last Will and Testamation the presence of us present at the same time and subscribed by us in witness in the presence of each other and of the said Testator
