John Shore Lynam was the illegitimate son of Joseph Lynam and Hannah Shore
Will for John Shore Lynam born 1826, Heage, died 1/1/1901 Heage
This is the last Will and Testament of me John Lynam residing at Broadholme, in the Parish of Heage, and County of Derby, as follows:
I hereby nominate and appoint Mr Joshua Worrall a Butcher now residing at Ambergate in the Parish of Heage and Mr Fredrick Wm KirklandOrganist now residing at Belper both in the County of Derby to be the sole executors and trustees of this my will.
I hereby order and direct my executors afore mentioned to pay and discharge as soon as conveniently may be, after my decease all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses.
I give and bequeath to my dear wife Alice Lynam for the term of her natural life, all my real and personal estate of what kind soever, all monies and securities for money, all my live and dead farming stock, all my household goods and chattels and all my housekeeping effects of what kind soever subject to the payment there out of the items last before mentioned, and my will further is that on and after her death of my dear wife afore mentioned my executors shall sell and dispose of all my real and personal effects aforesaid either by public auction or private contract for the best price that can be gotten for the same, and the proceeds of such sale or sales shall after deducting there out the necessary expenses thereof to be divided equally or amongst my children.
share and share alike to them or their heirs, executors or assignees to take as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and if and in case any of my children aforesaid shall die without lawful issue before the execution of the trusts hereby created, then their share moiety or proportion of my estate aforesaid shall be divided equally betwixt or amongst my surviving children, their heirs, executors or assignees.

Death on Tuesday night at an advanced age of Mr William? (John Shore) Lynam, horse dealer of Heage.
Among the Derbyshire farmers the deceased was widely known, his business taking him to all parts of this and other counties.
Heart disease was the cause of death.
Mr Lynam was attended by Dr W Brownlow Smith, an inquest was not necessary,
Deceased belonged to an old family who attended fairs and markets.
