John Lynam 1833 –1897
This is the last Will and Testament of me John Lynam of Alfreton in the Country of Derbyshire.
I hereby revoke all wills and testamentary instruments heretofore by me made.
I appoint William Lynam of Birchwood Lane in the Parish of Alfreton in the County of Derby and Arthur Edward Lynam of Stapenton in the County of Nottinghamshire to be executors of this my will.
I direct my executors to pay my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses.
I give and bequeath all my real and personal property of what nature or kind soever and all manner which shall lawfully fall due to me from all sources whatsoever at my death, to my wife Elizabeth for her separate use and benefit for and so long as she remains my widow, and at the decease of my wife aforesaid or in the event of her marrying again.
I give devise and bequeath all my property aforesaid after all just debt and funeral and testamentary expenses are paid to my surviving sons and daughters , the property aforesaid to be sold within twelve calendar months from the death or remarrying of my wife aforesaid and equally divide among my surviving sons and daughters share and share alike for their separate use and benefit, but in the event of any of my sons and daughters dying during the widowhood of my wife aforesaid, and leaving issue, but such only as shall have been born during the lawful wedlock of the same sons and daughters I give and bequeath the same sons and daughters.
I give and devise and bequeath the share which should have fallen due to which son or sons, daughter or daughters at the decease or remarrying of my wife aforesaid to his or her or their surviving lawful children in equal shares to be divided amongst them for their separate use and benefit, never the less my wife aforesaid shall keep all my property in good repair during her widowhood at her won expense or out of such money as shall accrue to her from time to time from rents or business or from such other sources of income as shall be under her control and management during such period as is herein before mentioned.
And I appoint William Lynam of Birchwood Lane and Arthur EdwardLynam of Stapenton aforesaid to be the executors of this my will as aforesaid
