Notes for John Bowmer
Note from an email from Sarah Bowmer 21/8/2002

I know he was married to Annie Fletcher and lived at Lawn Farm,Fritchley (at the top of Bowmer Lane) were my Great Grandma Bowmer, MaryAnn, lived.

My dad can remember going with Granpa when Uncle John died with 2tractors and 2 trailers to clear out all the rubbish from the house, apparantly Uncle John horded everything.

When they had loaded both trailers with everything from scrap metal toold newspapers my Granpa noticed a Scrap Metal man in a lorry, so heflagged him down and they transfered the stuff from the trailers to theman's lorry. I think he thought it was his birthday.

This is was in the Derbyshire Times when he got married
